To be able to endure to the end we must have a very strong foundation in things of the spirit.  We will all face great challenges in our lives.  To withstand these trials we will need to turn to the Lord.

The most important thing we can take with us to the next life is a strong testimony and faith in Jesus Christ.  It will not matter how much knowledge we have if we do not have a testimony.

We must teach our children from an early age to follow Christ and live the Gospel.   The scriptures say: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) 

We have living prophets and apostles that have repeatedly counseled us to search the scriptures, pray, hold family home evening, keep the Sabbath Day holy, and many other things.  They know what is needful in our lives and we should heed their teachings.

I would like to share ideas and some of the ways our family strives to build a strong spiritual foundation.
