We feel it is very important to build a strong moral character in each of our children.  To do this we choose one character trait, value, virtue, or ideal to be our focus each month.  Then during the month we teach up to 4 lessons on the chosen focus.  If you look at our lessons plans for President Hinckley's Nine B's, you will see samples of how we do this.  The lessons are written based on the resources we have in our own home.  By sharing what we do, we hope you will be inspired to design your own lesson plans using resources that you have.  Lessons can also be adapted to all ages in the family.

We put up a poster each month to remind us of our monthly focus!  We also choose a scripture memory verse to go with each monthly focus and this can be included on the poster.
