There have been many books written on homeschooling.  It can be hard to know which books would be the best to read when you are starting out.  I have listed the books that were helpful to me when I first looked into homeschooling.  I have also listed books that have been published more recently that I would have appreciated reading at that time.  I hope these books will be as helpful to you as they have been to me.
