Focus: Drawing and Painting As a group we are going to work on drawing and painting this year. This handicraft goes along very well with our study of nature. Some may benefit from systematically working through one or more of the above resources on a self-designed schedule, while others may simply prefer to use one of these titles as a handy reference. A sample schedule follows for using The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Optionally, you could choose to work on a different or additional handicraft of your choice. A list of possible handicrafts are: sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, calligraphy, cross-stitching, embroidery, latch hooking, plastic canvas, scrapbooking, braided rugs, rubber stamping, candlemaking, soapmaking, weaving, photography, cake decorating, floral arranging, macrame, stenciling, doll making, beadwork, and/or quilling. You will find
some book and resource suggestions for all these handicrafts on our Extra
Reading/Resource List for Handicrafts as we develop it.
