As a group we are going to work on quilting this year.  You are welcome to do any kind of quilting that you like, but we do have a quilt block exchange that you could join.  Sign up on our yahoo group email list.  Each person will make a certain number of the same quilt block (depending on how many sign up for the exchange) and then over the summer mail them out to each other.  During the fall each person can put together their own LDSMomEd quilt.  More details will be emailed to each person participating.  When finished we will post some pictures of the results on the site.
 

Optionally, you could choose to work on a different or additional handicraft of your choice.  A list of possible handicrafts are: sewing, crocheting, knitting, calligraphy, cross-stitching, embroidery, hardanger, latch hooking, plastic canvas, drawing/painting, braided rugs, rubber stamping, candlemaking, soapmaking, weaving, scrapbooking, photography, cake decorating, floral arranging, macrame, stenciling, doll making, beadwork, and/or quilling.
