There are two lesson plans, as we like to spend two weeks on each Article of Faith.  The lessons are taught during our Sunday devotional each week.  Then on the week days we recite the Article of Faith being studied, as well as sing the corresponding song from the Children's Songbook (CS), as part of our daily morning devotional.  These lesson plans are geared for the ages of our children, ages 4 to 10, but could be adapted for older children.

• Review the 1st Article of Faith by reciting as a family.
• Recite the 2nd Article of Faith as a family.
• Sing "The Second Article of Faith" CS pg. 122.
• Read from My First Articles of Faith Book by Deanna Draper Buck.
• Read Chapter 2 (Volume 1) of the Illustrated Articles of Faith.
• Recite the 2nd Article of Faith again.
• Sing "The Second Article of Faith" CS pg. 122.

• Recite the 2nd Article of Faith as a family.
• Sing "The Second Article of Faith" CS pg. 122.
• Briefly teach/read the following lessons from Gospel Principles.
• Chapter 4: Freedom to Choose
• Chapter 6: The Fall of Adam and Eve
• Read The Wheat and the Tares (Friend - Feb. 1995, pg. 48)
• Do page 13 in the Articles of Faith Activity Book by Glorianne Muggli
• Recite the 2nd Article of Faith individually/or as a family.
• Sing "The First Article of Faith" and "The Second Article of Faith" CS pg. 122.
